For well over a decade a group of faithful men have gathered at 6:00 a.m. each Wednesday for fellowship and Bible study. This group, known as Men on the Grow and led by Pastor Michael of Living Word UMC are currently studying the Revelation of St. John.
These blogs are taken from my notes of our weekly meetings. In addition to what we have discussed in these sessions, I’ve includes some supplemental material and some of my own examples and interpretations. Any errors and the opinions are solely those of the author.
It took this group over 3 years to cover the Gospel of John. I expect that Revelation will take at least that long.

A Study of the Book of Revelation 
I usually avoid studies of Revelation because, well, because too often it is taught didactically when one can only see through a glass darkly. I have my own views, of course, but from time to time will give yours a shot! 🙂 I enjoy a good discussion, anyway!
Finally made time to come over and read some of this study. Subscribed so I can keep updated as new posts come in. Very interesting work. I appreciate your taking this in small bites and digging into the texts, even considering all the available interpretations, not just the most popular of today.
As your study continues, do you mind if I present (in love) some possible renderings of the texts by some of my favorite teachers on eschatology? Thanks friend and God bless.

For some, the most feared book of the Bible, but one we must not over-look because of those fears. Revelations is so important to understand, thanks for sharing.
